Spicy Korean Noodles

We have been pretty hokked to Asain kitchen recently, preparing variety of woks and some Thai specialties. Balance between five flavors: sour, sweet, salty, bitter and spicy really makes you wanna eat it.

“WATCH OUT IT CAN GET PRETTY SPICY!”

The first meal I wanna with you is Spacy Korean beef noodles. It is easy and fast to prepare. The secret of this recipe is in the sauce, which is based on Gochujang, Korean chile paste. Watch out it can get pretty spicy.

Prepare all the ingredients prior to cooking. Cook noodles according to package directions.<\p>

  • 200 g noodles

3

Heat the large wok over high heat. Add sesame oil. Stir fry the meat. Let it get caramelized on one side, then toss and repeat on the other side. Add 2 tbsp of sesame seeds. Toast them a little and then add 2 tbsp of prepared sauce. Coat the steak with the sauce. Set aside. Continue with stir frying mushrooms. Put mushrooms also aside and stir fry veggies. When the veggies are tender add back meat and mushrooms. Add noodles and the rest of prepared sauce. Cook couple of minutes until the sauce has thickened and it nicely incorporates with the rest. In the end garnish with cilantro and fresh spring onion.<\p>
